Tribute to our dearest, ever loving, ever cheerful Mummy, Pastor (Dr) Aderonke Mosuro (Nee Idowu)

We find this very difficult and painful to write and do not even know where to begin from. “Auntie Ronke”, “Mummy Dammy” as she was fondly called by my siblings and I, played very great roles in our lives. Where do we start from? Is it when we were younger children and always looked forward to spending our holidays at Oregun with the ever accommodating Mummy and family. Or when the family moved to Ogba, Lagos before they finally relocated to the United Kingdom? She was always there for us, ensuring we did not miss out of the holiday fun-fares as children, ensuring she bought us Christmas wears and making sure everyone around her was happy.

I remember vividly my days in the boarding house at FGGC, she will wait for my mum to buy my provisions and then go to the market to buy some other sets for me. She will say “big Mummy, my girl (Shola) must be very comfortable in school”. She was indeed an Angel in human form, ensuring that everyone around her was happy. A cheerful giver indeed, she could give “anything”, no matter how precious or expensive the thing was.

She took so much care of EbunOluwa when she was pregnant with her first baby, she ensured that Ebun was constantly under her watch and care. She ensured that she was present at all family functions, she would not only be present, she will ensure that everything goes well, she will spend her money and energy on every event. What a rare angel she was.

She loved and served God with every strength in her, a true definition of a disciple
of Jesus. If we are to talk about our golden Mummy, the ever cheerful Mummy Dammy, a whole booklet cannot be enough. We will sorely miss you our darling Auntie and Mum, we only take solace in the fact that we shall see each other again on the resurrection day. You are now our guiding angel, please keep special watch over our dear Uncle, Damola and his family, Anjie baby , Tomisin and all of us.

We love you so very much and will surely miss you very much.
