TRIBUTE TO A VERY SPECIAL AND COMPASSIONATE SISTER

Amid deep grief and an ache that seems to penetrate to the very depths of my being, I am compelled to honour a soul so selfless, charming, and infinitely cherished – a beloved Sister, a nurturing mother, and a beacon of kindness whose presence filled our lives with immeasurable warmth and love.

Sister Ronke, as I fondly knew her growing up, transcended the title of sister. She embodied the essence of motherhood, becoming a nurturing figure, a pillar of strength, and a beacon of unwavering compassion. Her heart brimmed with love, and her presence exuded a profound warmth that embraced all fortunate to walk alongside her.

Sister Ronke’s presence in our lives was like a beautifully woven tapestry with threads of love, kindness, and humility. Like a symphony of joy, her laughter could brighten any dark day. Her words of wisdom were like gentle whispers long after she spoke, providing comfort, encouragement, and unwavering support. Sister Ronke’s memory will always live on in our hearts as her threads continue weaving into the fabric of our lives.

Sister Ronke’s true essence revealed itself through her selfless acts. She was a master giver, always willing to share her time, resources, and boundless love with anyone in need. Her home was a sanctuary for the weary, and her warm heart provided comfort and refuge to those seeking solace. With doors flung wide open, it became a haven for those seeking a respite from the turmoil of life.

And oh, how she cherished her family—her beloved husband, precious children, loving grandchild, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and all the extended members of her family tree. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she poured out her love upon them without reservation, nurturing them with tenderness and care.

As I say goodbye to a beloved Sister, mother, and grandmother, I find comfort in knowing that you are now in a place where pain and sorrow do not exist. You are singing and dancing, doing what you love the most. Although we will miss you dearly, your legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who knew you. May we find solace in our shared memories, and may the Holy Spirit comfort each of us in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
