I am devastated with the news of Ronke’s death. I have known her s8nce she was a child, adaughter to my late teacher in Ibadan Grammar School. She later became my student in thedepartment of Animal Science at the University of Ibadan where we developed a full bigbrother, baby sister relationship. She was a part of my family and my academic life. I keenlyfollowed her academic career and was hugely proud of her achievements. Her death is apersonal loss to me. I am still shocked by the abrupt departure. May God console her verydear family and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
