A letter to my big mummy
I hope this letter finds you in a place of love and peace. It’s been really hard for me since you left us, but I find solace in the memories we shared together. Your caring nature, selflessness and accommodating spirit touched the lives of everyone around you. You were truly a guiding light in my life.
I can’t help but smile when I think about how much we resemble each other. It’s like we have a special connection that goes beyond words. I’m sure God gave me your face for a reason and I will surely do whatever it takes to make you very proud of me.
You always called me “Diyinfolu,” and that name holds a special place in my heart. It reminds me of the love and bond we shared. You were not just a mother figure to me; you were my cheerleader. You always put others before yourself, making sure everyone felt loved and supported. Your kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Your absence is deeply felt, but I find comfort in knowing that you are watching over me from above.
Thank you for being the most amazing big mummy anyone could ask for. Though you may no longer be physically with us, your spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
